Hello there!

My name is Chelsea McWhorter, but you may know me as Mrs. Mac. I was born and raised in a small town in Maryland. I moved to Ozark, Alabama in 2011. I graduated in 2015 from Troy University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I interned at Newton Elementary School in 2015. After internship I knew Newton Elementary was where I wanted to teach. I absolutely love my job, my students, and the wonderful people that I work with. this is my 9th year of teaching and I have taught Kindergarten my whole teaching career. I am married to my husband, Daniel McWhorter. We have 3 beautiful daughters. Audrie is 18, Allison is 13, and Nora is 5. They each have their own unique personalities, which makes life exciting! My cup runneth over.
