Fifth Grade


I graduated from Dale County High School in 1997.  I attended Wallace Community College and transferred to Troy University of Dothan.  I graduated in 2001 with a degree in Collaborative Education K-6 and with an add-on certification for grades 6-12.


In 2002-2003 I taught Special Education for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades at Geneva County High School.  I have been here at Newton Elementary School since 2003.  I taught Special Education from 2003-2008.  For the '08-'09 school year I taught Fourth Grade. I moved to Sixth Grade for two years and Fifth Grade for two years.  I went back to the Sixth Grade.  I taught First Grade two years.  This year, I will be teaching FIFTH and SIXTH grade Science and History.  Looking forward to a wonderful year!!!
