Parents,
Dale County Schools will soon transition from using Remind and SchoolCast to ParentSquare as our primary source of communication with parents and students. ParentSquare will be used to share important school announcements, current events, emergency notifications, reminders, and other school-related information.
Please review the information below for special instructions regarding ParentSquare setup and communication expectations.

Welcome to Newton Elementary School
What's Happening @ NES
On Monday, January 30, 2023, our students were surprised by a visit from Governor Kay Ivey. She made a special trip to Newton to celebrate our school for not only being recognized as a Blue Ribbon School, but also for our most recent recognition as an ESEA National Distinguished School.

- Children deserve the opportunity to obtain a strong educational foundation based on reading, writing, and mathematical skills to enable them to become life-long learners.
- Most children learn best when they are actively involved in the learning process.
- Faculty and staff need to foster positive attitudes.
